Pada dasarnya manusia memang memiliki rasa ingin tahu. Itulah yang menyebabkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi bisa terus berkembang dan berlanjut dari masa ke masa. Semua penemuan yang terjadi dimuka bumi ini dapat terjadi karena adanya rasa ingin tahu dari manusia. Tanpa rasa ingin tahu, mana mungkin nenek moyang kita bisa tahu bahwa bulir-bulir padi yang berwarna kuning jelek kusam dan keras jika diolah ternyata bisa berubah menjadi nasi yang dapat di makan dan bahkan membuat orang kecanduan (lihat aja orang Indonesia, kalau nggak makan nasi dan cuma makan roti atau bubur gandum mana kenyang, buntutnya pasti nyari-nyari nasi).

Rasa keingintahuan manusia termasuk pada rahasia. Seems like everyone love a secret. Semakin sesuatu hal dirahasiakan, semakin tertarik orang untuk mengetahui dan menyingkapnya. Benarkah di Rosswell pernah ada pesawat UFO yang jatuh dan pemerintah Amerika Serikat menutup-nutupinya? Benarkah almarhumah Ibu Tien Soeharto meninggal karena tertembak dan bukannya terkena serangan jantung seperti yang diberitakan? Benarkah Mulan Jameela hamil dan Ahmad Dhani merupakan ayah dari anak yang dikandungnya?  Benarkah teman kita merupakan istri simpanan? Dan bagi saya pribadi, rahasia terbesar yang ingin saya ketahui adalah, apakah Vampire itu benar-benar ada?

Tapi tunggu dulu. Anda semua telah tertipu. Saya bukannya hendak membicarakan tentang suatu rahasia penting Negara manapun yang hendak melakukan serangan bom atom. Atau rahasia tentang perselingkuhan pejabat mana pun dengan pelayan restoran mana pun. Bukan juga tentang rahasia artis siapa yang menderita penyakit AIDS. Maafkan saya karena telah membuat Anda semua terbawa oleh plot awal penulisan yang terkesan sangat serius dan menjanjikan sebuah cerita misterius tentang rahasia besar umat manusia.

Yang akan saya bahas di sini adalah beberapa judul lagu yang bertemakan "Secret" yang layak untuk di dengarkan.

      Secret merupakan Single pertama dari album studio ketujuh milik Seal yang berjudul “Commitment”, yang diliris di seluruh dunia pada tanggal 20 September 2010. Video klip Seal ini banyak mendapatkan komentar baik dan buruk lantaran adegan yang diperankan dengan sang istri, Heidi Klum, dalam video klip ini dinilai terlalu vulgar. Bagi saya pribadi yang menempatkannya dalam urutan pertama list lagu Secret, video  ini lebih terkesan romantis, elegan sekaligus menawan. Seal dan Heidi terlihat benar-benar terlihat saling mencintai satu sama lain. They’re look beautiful dan perfect each other in their own way. Selain itu, suara emas Seal terdengar begitu serasi dengan lagu yang dibawakannya. Serius. Saya bisa memutar lagu ini sepuluh kali berturut-turut dari MP3 player saya dan meresapi setiap kata-katanya. Love this song so much. In my case, Seal were right, "You must know me, I'm one of your secrets, From what I see, You're trying to hard to keep it, Well I belong to you, And you belong to me".

One Republic – Secret

     

Ini adalah salah satu lagu favorite saya, merupakan single kedua yang dirilis dari album kedua OneRepublic's “Waking Up”. Dirilis sebagai single pertama di Jerman dan Austria karena kehadirannya di soundtrack dari film Til Schweiger's Zweiohrküken.  Saya pertama kali mendengarkan lagu ini saat dipakai oleh serial Gosip Girl sebagai soundtrack. Pada waktu itu setahu saya lagu ini belum terlalu dikenal di Indonesia. Saya bahkan menyukai lagu ini sebelum film The Sorcerer's Apprentice  yang dibintangi Nicolas Cage memakainya sebagai soundtrack (malahan saya sebal waktu film ini menggunakan lagu favorite saya sebagai soundtrack-nya karena menurut saya film ini kurang oke).  This time, Don't need another perfect lie, Don't care if critics ever jump in line, I'm gonna give all my secrets away. Oh well, memang terlalu banyak kebohongan akibat sebuah rahasia. Dan jika rahasia itu terungkap, akan banyak juga kritik yang datang karenanya. It’s a life. We must face it!

      Ini dia salah satu lagu angkatan papa mama kita yang everlasting dan masih enak di dengarkan sampai sekarang. Do You Want To Know A Secret dirilis di Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 23 Maret 1964, meraih tempat kedua setelah lagu lain milik The Beatles, "Can't Buy Me Love" di Billboard. Sebuah lagu unik yang baru saya ketahui keberadaannya. Lagu ini mungkin ada benarnya. Nggak semua orang bisa menyimpan rahasia kita, bahkan saudara dan sahabat kita sekali pun. Walaupun mereka sudah berjanji dan pake acara sumpah pramuka bahwa akan menjaga rahasia kita, pada dasarnya lidah manusia memang tidak bertulang, bisa saja rahasia tersebut tersebar. Dirty Little Secret adalah single pertama The All-American Rejects dari album kedua mereka, Move Along. Dirilis pada tanggal 6 Juni 2005, dan menduduki peringkat pertama Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart Amerika Serikat selama 26 minggu. Saya menyukai video klipnya yang unik, dimana setiap orang dari segala latar belakang menuliskan rahasia mereka di secarik kertas atau potongan karton dan menunjukannya kepada kita. Saya juga punya sebuah rahasia kecil. Waktu  masih berumur 3 tahun dan polos, saya pernah menukar sepatu yang sedang saya kenakan dengan sepatu yang dipajang di display toko karena bentuknya yang sama persis. Waktu itu mama saya sedang asyik belanja sendiri dan nggak memperhatikan ulah saya, beliau baru mengetahui kelakuan saya itu dua puluh tahun kemudian saat saya menceritakannya.
